IMPORTANCE
OF OBSERVATION
& MENTOR
(SPIRITUAL- GUIDE) IN
ISLAM

you have not an eye of Struggle then

ALLAHO "
"
says in Holy Quran:
"And
I created giants and humans only for my prayers."

Saint/Sufi
exegetists say that prayer means nearness and love of Allah.
And this is impossible for any body to love with Allah if one
doesn’t know who is Allah.

SYED
ABDUL QADIR JELANI
says:
"
Some one who does not recognize Allah then how can he/she prays for
him."
When
someone comes to recognition/acquaintance of Allah then automatically
he/she will have feelings of being near Allah, this will eliminate
evils and sins.
There
are three categories of assurance to recognize Allah.
1)
Assurance
due to knowledge:
This
means recognizing Allah due to knowledge and theory. This knowledge
can be achieved by studying books, viewing media, or by apparent
theologians. This type of assurance is based on just theoretical
logics. Reactions and opposite logics might be developed in minds
which would result in sectarianism and quarrel. So it is not enough
to have reorganization/acquaintance of Allah on just theoretical
logics.
Maulana
Roam
has
said :
I
read the most authentic books of Fikkah (Knowledge of Islam i.e, books
named as Kunz-o-hidaya), but could not find God. But (found,) when
read the Page of Heart, and the above said books were nothing (before
this page).
2)
Assurance
due to look / Positive knowledge
This
means recognizing Allah by looking brightness/luminosity of Allah
through the eyes of heart.
Without
the guidance of Spiritual Guide/Mentor, one can lose the right
way.
3)
Assurance
of Haq/Truth.
This
means recognizing Allah after confirmation of luminosity of Allah.
This type of assurance guarantees the nearness of Allah.
Some
one who wants nearness of Allah must be faithful believer. So it
is compulsory for him to know the feelings of faith/belief. Religion
belief or faith means confirmation and witness of heart, but it
is nature of heart that it doesn’t accept any thing without observation/examination
of that thing.
Importance
of Observation for the religion faith is stated in Holy Quran while
explaining an event/occurrence.
And
when Ibrahim (A.S) requested, "O my deity/preserver show me,
how you will alive the dead bodies?" I said, "Have you not
faith on it?" He said," Why not, but I want to satisfy my
heart."
The
point, which must be notified in this event, is that for the complete
faith/belief just listening some thing and then making inferences
is not enough.
Similarly
it is also said in Quran: -
"
And similarly we show Ibrahim (A.S) the malakoot/ Dominions of earth
and sky to make him a person with complete faith/belief."
As
completion of faith is dependent on observation, there fore, Allah,
while inviting the searchers of Allah (Talibon-e-Maula) for observation,says,
"We
show them (Taliban-e-Maula/searchers of Allah) our identifications/
souvenirs in this world/horizons and in their lives even they get
complete reorganization of Truth/Allah."
Horizon
is the apparent world, and Anfas/world of souls is that secret invisible
world, which can only be seen through spiritual powers. World of souls
is also called the invisible world (Aalam-e-Ghaib). Souls’ world is
original and Horizons’ world is dummy/imitation of other one.
Allah
has more said: -
"
There is no doubt that this book is correct guidance/righteousness
for those pious persons who have faith on invisible word (Aalam-e-Ghaib)."
Now
confirmation of observation of brightness/luminosity of Allah can
never be achieved without the guidance of Spiritual Guide/Mentor.
Holy
Quran says: - 
"O
men with faith/ believe! Adopt Taqwa (i.e abstinence /fear of Allah)
and find mediation/intercessor towards Allah."
At
another place Allah says in Holy Quran:
"The
person will be misled/depraved if he has no saint or spiritual guide/
mentor."
Dr.
ALLAMA MUHAMMAD IQBAL (R.A) has explained about above said facts.
"Was
the beneficence/good- influence of look/eye or miracle of school,
which trained the Ismail (A.S) for the respect of father (Ibrahim
A.S). "
"The
thing is not in wealth and palace/mansion, and not in force and power,
which is in the accompany of a Qalander/dauntless person."
"Why
there is crowed in the drinking bar/ public house, just because the
magus/tavern keeper Mentor is a courteous pious person."
Hazrat
Baba Bulhay Shah
(a
well known Sufi poet) has said:
O
Bulhia (R.A)! Without a complete mentor whole life’s prayers and divines
are wasted.
Now
key of observation of this secret world is Zikhar-ul-lah / repeated
invocation of God/Allah’s name and praises of Allah under the supervision
of Complete Mentor/Spiritual Guide.

HAZRAT SULTAN MUHAMMAD BAHOO
has
said
| "Allah
is secretly in the human beings as kernel/marrow in pistachio.Complete
Guide shows Allah’s finder (Talib-e-Maula ) "Allah"
in justone moment then what is this world of life and what is
life after death,he is never separated from Allah." (Noor-ul-huda
Kalan P#38)
"Look
of mentor is all in all righteousness of Allah which removes
/eliminates sensual and evil feelings and darkness from the
body of searcher of Allah (Talib-e-Muala)."
